39 Desserts, Cardiff

Wednesday, 11 July 2018

Last night I was invited along with a few other bloggers to 39 Desserts on Queen St in Cardiff to try out their new menu. It couldn't have come at a better time, with the UK basking in ridiculous heat and being 9 months pregnant, ice cream sounded like heaven!

When we arrived we were given the most luxurious menus and taken to a beautiful downstairs sitting area that has the BEST air con! Everything on the menu looked amazing and it took us an age to decide what to get. There is such a variety to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone.

We all started with a mocktail each to quench our thirst and ease us in to all the sweet treats we had ordered. These come in a wide range of flavours from Raspberry and Mint to Mango. They were super refreshing and are a perfect summer drink to cool you down and give you a massive hit of flavour.

Next up was our Sundae's. I went for the Bubblegum Sundae because Bubblegum Ice Cream is my absolute favourite, I know, I'm like a child! But I'm so glad I did. It was so good! It was way too much for just me but I made a good go of it. The lovely CSI Girls went for a Mint Chocolate Sundae and that looked equally as good.

I also had a Lemon Cheese Cake, it was beautiful, but it definitely finished me off. I practically had to roll back out because I had eaten so much. Zoe and the other girls all ordered Cookie Dough, white chocolate and raspberry and Ferrero Rocher, and again we couldn't fault the amazing taste.

Every dessert that was being brought out looked amazing and we were all getting FOMO looking at what everyone else was eating too! From waffles and crepes to cake and milkshakes everything looked so indulgent and you could see the enjoyment on everyones face. I can't wait to go back for another helping already, it's definitely the best desserts I've had in Cardiff in a long time.

Have you visited 39 Desserts yet? What would you be ordering?
