Winter Skincare

Wednesday, 11 January 2017

There is nothing worse than your skin feeling dry and irritated by the cold weather during the winter. I have been struggling to keep moisturised and found a few products have been working wonders. With the weather taking a turn for the worst by the end of the week I thought I would share with you my favourites.

Busy Bee Range by Honey Bee Beautiful - These are new products for me, I mentioned them in a post before Christmas but hadn't had a chance to use them yet. Made with all natural products and all using Welsh honey these have been amazing. When using all 3 together they create a dream team of products to keep your skin hydrated and clean.

The Jojoba Company Makeup Remover - This is an Australian product that I have been using for quite a few months now. If my skin is feeling particularly dry or in need of some nourishment this is the perfect remover. It can sometimes feel a little oily for a while after use, but as soon as it has all sunk in it leaves the skin feeling beautiful.

Hand Dream Super Cream by Soap & Glory - One for the hands, I get ridiculously dry hands during the Winter, especially around my cuticles where it gets quite painful. A dab of this every few hours works wonders at keeping the dryness at bay. It smells amazing and is super moisturising.

Tea Tree, Witch Hazel and Charcoal Scrub by Boots - When you skin needs a good exfoliate to get rid of all the dead skin I always grab this. I struggled to find a scrub that didn't have micro beads but still had the scrub quality but this is the one! There is a whole range of products that go with it and I love them all, but this is definitely my favourite.

What are your go to winter skincare products?

  1. I've been using the Zoella handcream recently and found it much better than the soap and glory ones - they seem to leave an oily residue that you have to wipe off.

    1. Ahh I find most hand creams take a little while to sink in but the Soap & Glory one is lovely, I have super dry hands so perhaps it was more suited to my skin. Will definitely give the Zoella one a try though, thanks for the recommendation!
