New Movie Round Up

Friday, 11 November 2016

I have had a list of films that I have wanted to see over the last few months and have had very little time to get through it. There are still so many more on there but I will hopefully use some of my time off over Christmas to get through them. I have however been able to watch one or two so thought I would condense the reviews into one post.

Sausage Party

I have been itching to see this film since the day it got announced. Seth Rogan is one of my favourite humans ever and I love everything he is in. Sausage Party did not disappoint, don't get me wrong if you are looking for a film with a complex story line or complex comedy this is not it. It does what it says on the tin and is your typical, laugh out loud, hilarious, so close to the mark it hurts, Seth Rogan comedy. Let's be honest its about talking food, how serious of a story line could this have?!

On the complete other end of the spectrum we have Supersonic. This is a documentary about Oasis and their rise to fame. With the Gallagher brothers narrating most of it, it does have its comedy elements but most of all it is a really interesting look into how they were discovered and how they all handled the fame differently.

Bad Moms

I loved this film. Another, not too serious, comedy that centres around Mila Kunis' character being a mom that just can't cope with the stress of everything a working mother needs to be to survive in the 'perfect mom' world her children school has created. A good rom-com for a lazy day with munchies and a movie.

Have you got any good film recommendations at the moment?
