Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask

Wednesday, 9 November 2016

I had the Garnier Moisture Bomb tissue mask sitting in my house for a few weeks and I had been putting off trying it. It seemed like such a good idea when I picked it up shopping and then when I got home it scared me a little when I looked at what it actually entailed.

I finally bit the bullet this week, my skin was looking a little worse for wear after a period of no sleep and long hours in work, so it seemed like the perfect chance to relax and take some time out. The first thing I have to say is I have quite a small head and face so this mask was too big. It probably wouldn't be that much of a problem for most people and it didn't matter too much as all the holes were cut extra big so that you could get the best possible fit for your face. But I could have done with a lot less tissue.

The sensation when the mask first goes on is really weird. It feels like there is way too much serum and that its going to drip everywhere (it doesn't). When it's on and comfortable, a mirror is probably best for that bit, you leave it on for 15 minutes. Once its on it just feels like a very moist mask, you get used to it very quickly and as long as you don't look at yourself in the mirror it feels really soothing. After peeling it back off you are left with quite a lot of excess serum, the instructions say to either massage it in or wipe away with a cotton pad. I massaged it in and after a few more minutes of drying my face felt so smooth. My skin felt lovely and tight and I just wanted to keep feeling it.

As a remedy to tired and dehydrated skin this mask is perfect. My skin can become quite oily so it isn't something I could use regularly but is definitely an amazing pick me up.

Have you tried a Garnier Moisture Bomb yet? Have you got a favourite face mask?

  5. That mask looks like a good rehydration tool but I'd be terrified to try it in case it was really messy
