Christmas Travels

Sunday, 13 November 2016

I love travelling, but at Christmas it feels all the more magical. This year I am hoping to get out and about as much as possible and have already got a few places planned and in the calendar.

I love Bath Christmas Markets and they've become a bit of a tradition for me and a few friends to all go up together. There are hundreds of little stalls selling all manor of gifts so you can really find something for everyone. And if you don't there are plenty of shops around too from highstreet to small boutiques, Bath has it covered.

I went to London's Winter Wonderland for the first time last year. I couldn't believe the size of it compared to my local one in Cardiff, it seemed like it would go on forever. There are quite long queues for rides but there are so many bars and stalls everything else was relatively quick. The atmosphere was awesome and I can't wait to get back on the big wheel and see the amazing view. It really got me into the Christmas mood last year, it was the perfect last minute break.

We are also hoping to catch Aladdin while we are in London. I love seeing a show in the Westend and  I've heard good things about this production. Fingers crossed we find time!! (Look at the costumes!!!)

Have you got any Christmassy travel recommendations? Or a Christmas travel tradition?

  1. I love going to the German Christmas Market in Birmingham... It's one of the biggest in the UK. Winter Wonderland in London is good too :)

    1. Ahh that sounds great, I will have to see if I can find time to visit there too!
