Lush Christmas Bloggers Event

Wednesday, 12 October 2016

Last night I had the pleasure of attending Lush Cardiff's Christmas bloggers event. I absolutely love Lush events because the staff are so lovely and knowledgable about all of the products and I am a massive Lush fan. This event has been one of my favourites so far as there was such a diverse group of bloggers and I got to meet some awesome people as well as try out some festive favourites.

There are 2 seasonal lip scrubs and matching tints, Santa Baby, an oldie but a goodie, and Sugar Plum Fairy which shares its scent with my all time favourite Lush product, The Comforter. The tints are really pigmented and moisturising and the scrubs taste beautiful.

One of the biggest things about this years products is that they are all self preserving. This means they will last longer and don't use any chemicals to do so. With that in mind some of the more well known products that have come back have a slightly different consistency to their older counterparts but still have the same amazing outcome. The shower gels are a lot more thicker than they used to be and are more of a jelly than a gel. But they still have the super soft feeling and amazing scents.

This was one of my favourite soaps of the Christmas range. When you cut into Santa's Post Box it has lots of letters and parcels inside ready to be sent to Santa. The scent is gorgeous and, even though I'm not a massive fan of a solid soap, this left my hands feeling really moisturised and soft.

Monsters Ball has been all over my Instagram for the last few weeks, it seems the blogosphere has gone mental for this little Halloween gem. When you smell this in the shop you will be a bit underwhelmed but wait until it hits water to make up your mind. It is super fizzy and leaves a gorgeous fresh smelling bath full of thick bubbles.

This Bubble Bar made my night, of course I am a massive Wicked fan so this was right up my street. I don't usually like spicy Christmas scents but this one was completely different to what you would usually get. Its warm and inviting without an overpowering Cinnamon smell. I loved it.

A massive thank you to Lush Cardiff and Lush PR Team for the invitation and great evening. I can't wait to use all of my goodies!
