Time To Travel - #theislandbreak

This week I had an exciting parcel in the post. A mysterious black box addressed to the blog that I had no idea was coming. When I opened it I realised it was from Jersey and then got super excited.

An island shaped by the sea where some of the most astonishing tides in the world circle the coast and feed the land. An island that’s small on size, but big on personality, where country lanes open to cliff top views and the sea is never more than ten minutes away.

In the box was a set of Virtual Reality Glasses for me to explore Jersey and feel like I was actually there. I was blown away by the videos, the beaches were extraordinary and all I could think of was how much fun Pugsey would have there and the amazing images I could capture!

I haven't been to Jersey since I was very little but I remember my whole family going out when I was around 4 and my parents, grand parents and aunties still like reminiscing about the awesome time we all had there. I definitely think I should rally the troops and get a family holiday arranged, especially now that the family has grown so much since.

Ecréhous looked amazing, fantastic views and even dolphins just off the coast! Every video I watched was idilic and I have no idea why I haven't ever thought about going back after all of these years. There is so much to see and do in such a small place, I am itching to get myself over there and explore! There is definitely something for everyone, from spas and retail therapy to amazing food a cultural walks. The 360 videos have definitely given me itchy feet!

They are currently running a competition for one of you lucky people to be in with a chance of winning a 3 night stay for two in Jersey and why wouldn't you enter?! You could even get your own VR Viewer too!
