Life Update

Monday, 28 March 2016

Hi guys, it's me, Savannah!
I honestly cannot apologise enough for the lack of posts on my behalf. I have been crazy busy, however, I have decided to take two minutes to update you all on what's been going on. To start off, I am currently in my third year of university and assignments are flying in from every angle, however, I only have three left before I am officially free. I have been given my graduation date which is slightly scary as I now need to accept that I am fully an adult *cries*.

Amongst all the craziness, on Friday afternoon I decided to take a well earned break away from my computer and uni assignments to just have a chilled day with my family. We headed to Barry Island which is a small seaside town about an hour away from where I live, it's also where Gavin and Stacey is filmed, if you've ever seen the show. The weather was absolutely beautiful and it was so nice to stroll around taking in the beautiful sunshine and fresh air with my family.

Then, on Saturday, I took part in the 'World Half Marathon' in Cardiff with my mother (whom I am extremely proud of). Even though I didn't finish with the best time in the world, I am so thrilled to say I actually finished. I was completely and utterly drained by the end of it, I was soaked right through, aching all over and my feet were cut to pieces so to make it passed the finish line was an amazing achievement. My mother, who is 52 was honestly incredible, she literally had to drag me through the last three miles as my feet were cut to bits. I was so proud of her and I honestly could not of done it without her.

So, that's my quick life update, I am currently sat in bed aching all over and catching up on 'The Walking Dead' as I am waaay behind. I'm sorry again for the lack of posts and I cannot wait to get back to blogging once I have finished university. Thank you for being so patient.

  1. Well done for finishing! I want to do a 10km run in 2 months time and to be honest, I am dreading it! I've never managed to get past 6km before!

  2. Thank you! It was tough but well worth it, such an amazing feeling getting across the finish line! You can do it :) x
