Lush Haul

Sunday, 14 February 2016

I called in to my local Lush in Cardiff last week to have a peek at the valentines/mothers day products. I had seen a few of my favourites were back but there were some products I hadn't seen or tried yet so stopped off for a try.

Of course I picked up my usual Comforter as I always keep stocked up on my all time favourite Lush product! I am a big bubble bar fan, as you can probably tell from the image above. I just love how moisturising they are and the scents seem a lot stronger than the bombs. They also last a bit longer as you can break them into smaller pieces and ration it out a bit further. They also do The Comforter in shower cream now but they had sold out of the size I wanted so I didn't pick any up.

That being said, I also picked up one of the products that is back from last year, Unicorn Horn. I loved the colour of this bar and the smell is beautiful. Last year I was gutted when they sold out before I got back to the store so will definitely be stocking up on these this year.

A new one for me to try was Ladybird, which is another bubble bar (surprise, surprise) and smells like citrus and mint. I didn't think I was going to like the scent, but I love it, can't wait to try it.

I also went in with the plan of getting a conditioning hair mask as my hair is really badly damaged at the moment and in need of some nourishment. After going through all of the different conditioners with one of the girls working there I decided on the Jungle conditioner. This isn't sold as a hair mask but I have melted half of it down in some warm water and pasted it on my hair, left it for 20 minutes and washed it back out and the difference it made to my hair was unreal. I can actually get a brush through it again, thank god! I can't wait to melt the other half down and do it again to get my hair back to a half decent condition.

Last but not least I had a sample of Toothy Tabs. These are a product that I have been intrigued by the last few times I have been into store but was too scared to try. I still don't know how I feel about them so I will give them a few more tries before I give you my judgement.

Have you tried any of the Mothers Day or Valentines Day range yet? Are any of your favourites back from last year?

    1. Aww, you should go to one of the Lush Spa's at the end of some of the treatments you get a Lush bath as part of it!
