Kiko Eyeshadow Review/Comparison

Sunday, 24 January 2016

I've only very recently started using Kiko products when Savannah suggested I try them a few months ago. So just before Christmas I picked up a few items whilst I was in Bath shopping to give them a try.

As you can see these eyeshadows are both very similar colour but I wanted to compare both and thought the best way to do that would be to have the closest colour match. First of all I love the colour of both, the pay off is great and the colour works well on its own or blended into another shade.

If you have read my New Year Favourites post you probably don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out which product I preferred. The powder eyeshadow is great, super pigmented and easy to blend. It's really shimmery but still very wearable as an everyday shade.

The stick, however, I am not a massive fan of. Applying it, it felt quite greasy but it quickly dried which was fine. After a few minutes however it became quite sticky. It lasted nowhere near the 8 hours that the packaging states and left creases within minutes of application. It's usable if you haven't got a mammoth amount of time to apply your makeup and you just need a quick bit of colour but I won't be using this very often.

Have you tried any Kiko products?

  1. I have been looking into buying some things off Kiko as I have heard some great things, but i might give the stick eyeshadow a miss!

    1. All of their other eyeshadows I've tried have been so good so it was quite disappointing but you should definitely try some of their other products, they are great!
