Disneyworld Travel Diary - Day Three

Tuesday, 24 November 2015

Good Morning guys, I have another disney post today for you! This is the third day of my trip to Disneyworld Florida where we visited Animal Kingdom. As you can see from the photos, it was a beautiful day yet again. As we walked into Animal Kingdom we could see 'The Tree of Life' which was absolutely beautiful, the tree is so detailed and looks amazing as you walk in.

The first ride that we went on was Dinosaur, I am not going to lie, this ride honestly terrified me, haha, I am such a wimp when it comes to dark rides, I had my head down all the way around. This ride goes around a track passing different dinosaurs on the way, it is quite a dark, loud and jumpy ride, haha. We then decided to brave Expedition Everest, this is a high speed roller-coaster which also goes backwards, this ride was incredible and was one of my favourites. I loved it so much I went on it three times.  We also went on Kali River Rapids, which is a water ride, be warned, you will get soaked on this ride. This ride was so much fun and I didn't stop laughing all the way around.

After we had spent the morning going on as many rides as possible we decided to go and watch some shows, the first being 'The Lion King', this show was incredible from start to finish, the singing and dancing was so good and I didn't want it to end.

The next show we went to see was 'Finding Nemo', the scenery in this show was mesmerising, I couldn't take my eyes off it. I enjoyed this show but I felt it was more suited to younger children, my favourite out of the two was definitely 'The Lion King'.

We decided to go for a meal in the 'Rainforest Cafe', I had never been to one of these restaurants before and I was so excited as we walked in and were seated. The restaurant is set out like you are sat in the middle of a rainforest, it is honestly incredible. We also braved the dessert known as the 'Sparkling Volcano', this dessert comes with (brace yourself) brownies, ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate and caramel sauce, this dessert could of easily served six people and I am ashamed to say I couldn't even take more than a few bites.

Animal Kingdom was probably one of my favourite parks, I loved the feel of this park and the rides were also incredible, it was a lot different to the other parks.
