I never make new years resolutions. I like to have the feeling of a new start in the new year, but I hate the pressure resolutions give you. So even though these are goals I have for 2015 I did start a few of them during the end of last year so I wouldn't have the fear of waking up on the 1st of January to massive set of rules I had set myself.
Read at least 2 books a month
Now this is not a massive goal but some months I do find I don't give myself enough time to read. It is something I love doing and I have found I have got into the horrible habit of taking my laptop to bed with me at night instead of a book. So in 2015 I will try to read at least 2 books a month and put my laptop down at a reasonable hour so I have time to relax and read before I sleep.
Buy more music
This again is not a massive goal but I am from a generation that when I was old enough to buy my own music it was readily available online for free, illegally I may add, but all the same I never had to pay for it. Now that my husband is in a band and I can see how badly this has effected the industry I feel annoyed at myself for being a part of it. Music is something that nearly all of my friends have a passion for, even if they are not musical themselves we all have a common interest in music. I may be doing it for the Karma points, but I will buy at least one album a month and encourage my friends to do the same, and hopefully my prior misdemeanours won't come back to bite me on the butt.
Run at least twice a week
Or at least do some sort of workout. This year I have promised some friends that I would do the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge and also a local race called the Nos Galon that shuts down our village every New Years Eve. Even though I have been known to go for a run every now and again and I did do that 30 day yoga challenge for a while, I am by no means anywhere near fit enough to do either of these events. So I will be forcing myself to do some training and stick to some sort of routine.
Drink more water
This kind of fits in with the last one. When I was in school I used to drink lots of water, I would never drink anything else. And even though I still prefer water to fizzy drinks I have gotten out of the habit somewhere down the line of drinking as much as I should.
So 2015 will hopefully be the year I get fitter, read more and get some good karma points back. Have you got any goals or resolutions for 2015? Have you broken any already?

Great goals, especially with the reading and drinking more water. In fact, I may join you on those! :) x
