Lush Cardiff Christmas Blogger Event

Monday, 6 October 2014

Last Friday myself and Savannah were invited to another Lush blogging event and I was so excited when I realised the invite was for their Christmas range. I'm not going to lie, I did have a conversation with Savannah about wearing Christmas jumpers but it quickly got dismissed.

We arrived to a queue of excited bloggers waiting at the door, excited to sample all of the new range. I didn't really have any favourite Christmas products, but Savannah was really looking forward to getting her hands on a bottle of Snow Fairy shower gel. I really loved the smell of the new Baked Alaska soap and also nabbed myself a Candy Mountain bubble bar to try when I got home.

I am forever undecided about bath bombs. No matter how much I love them I feel like they are a massive treat as it is a lot of money to spend on one bath, (I know, I'm tight). However I do absolutely love them and couldn't help spending ages smelling all the new Christmassy ones. After about 15 minutes sniffing, and with a powder/glitter covered nose, I think the Luxury Christmas Pud was probably my favourite, which was great as I had a free one in my goody bag to take home.

Another part of the new product launch I was impressed with was the new gift boxes. The packaging was beautiful and there was a really good selection in every box I picked up. I find that some of the time there is only one or two things I would use in a gift set and the rest get left, but I think nearly everyone I picked up had a good variety and range.

The Star Light Star Bright bath melt was another one of my favourite products of the evening. The only thing that put me off is the amount of glitter. I only picked it up for a second to smell it and I was covered. Savannah was attracted to anything with the Snow Fairy scent, which this year I think they have one of every type of product with that fragrance.

So by the end of the evening, myself and Savannah had to fight every urge not to spend every penny we had. Savannah did pick up a bottle of Snow Fairy and we both bought a Candy Mountain but we both had an awesome goody bag of freebies too. Both bags had a Christmas Eve bubble bar, a Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb and a bottle of shower gel, I had So White and Sav had Rose Jam.

I would like to say a massive Thank You to the Lush Cardiff staff as they are always so lovely and friendly in these blogger events and always make it so much fun. We also got to meet some lovely bloggers too which was great to put faces to names. I can't wait until the next event to have a proper chat.

What is your favourite Christmas Lush Product?
