Trip to Cardiff and a Mini Haul

Thursday, 17 July 2014

My boyfriend and I had a lovely trip to Cardiff last week as he wanted to take his father out for the day and treat him, bless. We decided to drive down early to miss all the hustle and bustle. It was lovely and quiet, including Primark, shocker. Primark was practically empty and there was no queues at the checkouts which is always lovely. We headed to Primark first and I decided to wander around on my own as I had three more floors than them to browse around. I was quite dissapointed with myself as I didn't pick anything up, there was nothing really that caught my eye. We then had a coffee and crepe in Crepe Affaire, I am obsessed with crepes and was so excited to try one from this shop, it didn't disappoint by the way.

Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm - Whimsical,  Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm - Audacious,  Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick - 16,  Tanya Burr Lipgloss - Picnic in the Park

We then had a wander around various shops and I decided to stop in Superdrug to buy some lip products that I had been eyeing up. I decided to buy two more Lip Lacquer's from Revlon as they are amazing, I bought one before I went to Disneyland and I have not stopped wearing it, it is so moisturising and smells amazing, I bought the colours, 'Audacious', which is a coral colour and 'Whimsical', which is a glittery purple. I also bought another Tanya Burr lipgloss, as these smell amazing and feel amazing on the lips. I bought the shade 'Picnic in the Park' as I have not stopped hearing people rave about this colour, this colour is kind of a coraly pink colour, perfect for the summer. The final thing I bought was not planned, it was a purchase made on the way to the checkout. It was a Kate Moss lipstick, I think they had £2 off her range, I ran over to the stand and picked up 'Shade 16', this again is a lovely coraly pink colour, I see a coral theme here, haha.

We then finished off the day by going to see Abis' husbands band 'Fingertrap' play in Cardiff, which was awesome, please check them out on Youtube.
