Turtles All The Way Down, John Green - Review

Thursday, 18 January 2018

'It's quite rare to find someone who sees the same world you see.'
Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there's a hundred thousand dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett's son, Davis.
Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.

Getting Back To It...

Another January, another 'I'm Back' post. This is the first festive period that I've actually stepped away from social media completely, and just enjoyed being around family and friends with no distractions. I usually dial it back a bit but I didn't post anything for around 2 weeks, and it felt great! Not having the pressure of the deadlines and targets that I usually give myself was lovely and allowed me to really just enjoy the time I had with everyone for a really special Christmas.
